Our curved stair lifts feature a slight backward pitch to the seat for added comfort and safety. And the seats we offer are available in a wide or narrow model to suit your personal preference.
The footrest raises and lowers to make it safe, and easier, to get in or out of the chair. Do you need longer arm rests? We offer that as well for your added comfort.

Our primary concern must always be your safety. The hand control in this model will not move the stair lift unless there is at least 40 pounds of pressure on the seat. It will not move an inch unless you are properly seated. A novel idea that could easily save you from an accident.
You can still move the stair lift when it is unloaded with the remote control if you are moving a load of laundry for example, or simply parking the chair at the top of the stairs.

Are your stairs narrow? This lift from Stannah features a seat with a slight curvature that keeps it close to the wall. while keeping your knees away from the opposite side wall or rail.
In this example, and the one below, you can see that we can park the stair lift around the corner or rail end to make the area more spacious, and safer for others who may be walking at the bottom of the stairs.
