The Levant Comfort is today’s most versatile and functional stair lift available. The Comfort brings all the standard features of the Select with significantly important additions. Power Swivel: The first addition is the Power Swivel seat, making it a completely effortless transition at the upper landing. The rider simply presses the joystick in the up direction and the Comfort safely and smoothly rotates the seat to an optimal exiting position. Automatic Footrest: The footrest on the Comfort has a unique interlocking system that automatically raises the footrest when not in use. Simply fold up the seat and the foot rest follows for a obstacle free passage way. Upholstery: More is better…the Comfort offers a number of different color choices to more closely match your décor. Dark blue, Slate and Sisal vinyl. Design: The Comfort seat utilized a tube frame with stand alone seat cushion and a back rest creating a slimmer elegant design. The higher back rest also adds to the overall design and comfort.

Padding: Using your choice of upholstery we have created a firm but soft seat with a “leather like” feel. The pads color fits any household and is fire retardant, liquid repellant and exceptionally easy to clean. Seat belt: A simple “one click” seat belt system provides even more safety and security and can be extended for even more comfort. Control Unit: The Levant control unit is extremely easy to use with the joystick readily available right on the arm rest. This is a perfect solution for individuals with dexterity problems. Our joystick also doubles as a key for added safety, if the grandchildren are around simply remove the key and the lift will not move. Swivel handle: The swivel handle enables the chair to swivel to the safest position at the stairs, which is particularly useful in tight spaces. With our swivel you’ll always move towards the landing, and secularly latch increasing your personal safety. The handle is easy to operate with either hand.

Safety: The footrest has several safety edges on both sides, back and bottom. When the footrest encounters an obstacle, the stair lift comes to an immediate stop, whether moving up or down.
The design of the drive shroud fits the chair and footrest perfectly for a cohesive look. You can see the embossed design repeated on the drive, chair leg, and even the Call/Sends which enhances the Levants sleek, unified appearance. Battery operation: Your Levant features battery operation so you won’t be left stranded even if the power goes out. The Levant’s battery has a long usage cycle and will carry you 25 additional times even if nothing else in the house works! Charge: The batteries are maintenance free and they charge automatically when not in use. Your installer will plug it into an existing outlet and the Levant takes care of the rest. On or off: The chassis has an on/off switch in case you leave for an extended period of time. If you leave the switch will keep your battery from running down and extend their life. Safety: As another safety precaution, special safety edges on the side of the chassis are activated immediately when an obstruction is present near the motor or gear, so neither you nor your stair lift will suffer any harm.
The extruded aluminum rail has a slim design with the rack securely covered which gives it a modern look. In addition, the rail is anodized which keeps the surface clean. Strength: The rail supports come standard with powder coat. Each one of the (4) supports are fastened directly to the stair treads with (4) ¼” lag screws providing a stable ride and not effecting the value of the home. Versatility: The rail has a possible range between 1’ and 32’ of length and the angle can differ from 28 to over 45 degrees. We can fit the Levant to almost any straight run stairway. Charge contacts: Long charging contacts keeps the lift batteries fresh and ensures your chair will always stop at the charging point. A pleasant tone alerts you that your lift has arrived safely at its proper location.
The Levant carries both the CE and ETL safety certification and is manufactured to ASME 18.1 so you can use it with total confidence.
Two call/send stations come standard with every unit. These are especially handy in a home in which more than one person uses the lift. The infra-red control has a wide range so the user does not have to point exactly at the drive. Finally, the Levants “hold to run” buttons to ensure your safety during use. As soon as you release the button, the lift will stop.
